We have a close friend of our family, who everytime he drives by our cars while they are parked unattended loves writing in the dirt on our back windshield.
His window graffitti usually consists of a heart with his name in it. "Kris". Real gangsta style. It's a pain in the butt to clean it up, but I always smile when I see his window art.
The other day, I was driving the Jeep around town and there in my rear view mirror was my darling son and further back in the back, dusty window was "Kris" with a heart around it. It made me smile, as a matter of fact, it made me want to start doing the same thing.
I think maybe I took growing up too seriously. You know like a job.
I profess to write my name in dusty windows. I also profess to play in the rain. There will be other things that I think I will start doing, even though I'm a grownup.
While I worked at Southwest Airlines, they had a wonderful customer service saying.
"Take your job seriously, but never take yourself seriously" it was a smart way to portray the fun yet professional atmosphere they wanted it to be like.
